NYC STATIONERY SHOP - MCNALLY JACKSON ROCKEFELLER
where book lovers + Stationery Enthusiasts go to fall in love (with books & Stationery of course 😉)
Want to know a little secret? I probably go to a McNally Jackson location in NYC at least once a week. I mean, stationery + books, like what could be a better combo?! Seriously! Add coffee into that mix and you basically have THE trifecta for a cozy, stationery-obsessed, journaler such as myself (this is basically the McNally Jackson Seaport location, but that is for another blog post lol). The McNally Jackson location in the heart of Rockefeller Center, across from the Nintendo NYC store, is one of my favorites places to visit and let me tell you why…
blessings (x2)
If you haven’t already seen it on social media, McNally Jackson has blessed us with two types of stores: McNally Jackson Books and Goods for the Study.
McNally Jackson Books is usually dedicated to books but in some of the bookstores they will have a a section for us stationery lovers.
Goods for the Study is a stationery dreamworld. They have a gigantic variety of curated stationery, from Hobonichi to Rivoli, to Kaweco and Sailor fountain pens.
But this McNally Jackson Rockefeller location has the best of both worlds!
The famous pen wall
If you haven’t seen it all over socail media yet, Goods for the Study has a massive pen wall filled with fountain pens, markers, calligraphy pens, inks, and fountain pen accessories! It’s such an eye-catching display and most of the McNally Jacksons only has a mini version display of the pen wall while the Goods for the Study ones have the full wall, BUT this Rockefeller location has a massive pen wall and let me tell you..IT’S STUNNING, I mean literally breathtaking if you love writing utensils and guess what you can LITERALLY go crazy and test ALL of them.
Mcnally is for pen lovers
This location even has a curated fountain pen cabinet where you try them out, brands ranging from Esterbrook to Sailor, Kaweco, and Pilot.
so many treasures
I cannot even begin to tell you how many brands and notebooks, stickers etc. I’ve discovered browsing through this location on a cozy afternoon.
I even discovered a new planner by Hightide that I will be using next year! Another discovery I made recently was a new notebook company called Kaku. I bought their souvenir notebook and it’s so cool it a 73-color landscape notebook so it’s a notebook printed in 73 colors with ruled lines that change color with each turn of the page. I’m so excited to try it out.
